I began my career in finance back in 2012, starting out as a junior broker at a firm where I was lucky enough to learn the foundations of the industry from the ground up. Over the years, I worked my way up to a senior broker position, gaining valuable experience and a deep understanding of what truly matters when helping clients, which is building strong relationships based on trust and genuine care.

In 2015, I decided to take a leap and go out on my own. I wanted to create a business that was more than just about numbers, one that focused on people, relationships, and long-term support. That’s how Ausquip Finance was born.

I hold a Certificate IV in Mortgage and Finance Broking, and while I explored mortgage broking early on, I quickly realised my passion was in working with small to medium businesses in asset and business finance, supporting their goals and being part of their growth journey. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a business owner achieve the next stage of their success, knowing I’ve played a small part in making it happen.

In 2025, I completed my Bachelor of Laws, focusing on contract and financial law. The experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the structure and reasoning behind financial agreements — including those seemingly “silly” or “quirky” document requests lenders sometimes make. It’s helped me translate that complexity into simple, practical language for my clients, so they always understand the why behind the process. This knowledge has been a perfect complement to my work, allowing me to approach every finance scenario with greater perspective, clarity, and attention to detail.

At the heart of it all, what I love most about my journey is that it’s always been people driven. The relationships I’ve built, the businesses I’ve supported, and the stories I’ve shared with clients are what make this career so rewarding.
